Tim Barchard

Professor Tim has been studying Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 1999. A life long traditional Martial Artist Professor Tim wanted to help round out his stand up skills.

Professor Tim traveled to train private lessons under BJJ Black Belt Keith Florian. Professor Tim met Professor Kevin and began accompanying him on his training trips to New York to train under Master Renzo. Professor Tim has also traveled to Brazil on numerous occasions to study Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. In August 2006 Professor Tim competed and took the gold medal at the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu World championships.

On May 20, 2011 at a seminar attended by over 100 people Professor Rafael, Professor Daniel Gracie, and Professor Kevin promoted Professor Tim to the rank of Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Master Renzo Gracie. This promotion made Professor Tim only the second Black Belt in the state of New Hampshire under Master Renzo Gracie.
